Problem installing Safety Test Browser 2.0 on Windows 10

  Hi, i'm having an issue with installing Condom Exam from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/seb/, I re-downloaded it iii times, restarted my pc two times and nothing happens, just announced a window loading (check image) but thats all, the window just closes itself and no window appear again with the atmospheric condition or "next" options. My pc is Windows ten. My SEB version is two.3.

  I'll take an exam tomorrow, and then please help me to figure it out how to fix it, cheers in advance.

  Please try the following:

  1. Manually uninstall all previous SEB installations via the Windows control panel.
  2. Restart your computer.
  3. Install the latest version once again. Information technology is normal if it takes a while (though it should not take longer than a few minutes).

  If this does non piece of work, take note of the time when the installation got stuck. Open the Windows upshot view and bank check all the logs under "Windows Logs" (especially the "Setup" log) whether there are any warnings or errors around the fourth dimension of the attempted installation. If there are, post them here so that nosotros may investigate the upshot further.

  Thanks for your reply.

  1. I checked the Control Panel simply any previous SEB installations were found in that location.
  2. I restarted my figurer.
  3. Installed once again, the same problem happened. (I waited 15 min).

  I checked the setup logs(cheque image) i didn't institute the date of the installation(02/four/2020) also checked my applications and no SEB was institute.

  Just that I sympathize correctly: You lot didn't find whatsoever messages related to SEB or InstallShield in the "Application", "Setup" and "System" logs?

  If that is the case, I'm afraid there isn't much nosotros tin can do from afar. If you are using whatever security or anti-virus software, y'all could try to deactivate them temporarily and see whether that helps. It should though never be the case that an anti-virus software blocks the installation of SEB.

    Hi, I ran into a problem with SEB : when I try to showtime it, it says "seb profile cannot be loaded, it might be missing or unaccesible"
    In this case, the Profiles folder is nowadays in AppData\Roaming\SafeExamBrowser

    What might be a problem?

      Make sure that your user account has access rights to that binder. You might also desire to endeavor to delete the profiles folder.

        Everything seems to be fine with access to the folder. I tried to delete the folder - it did not help(

  Howdy i take been having aforementioned problems as Oluwabunmi Kehinde that error mesage appears i have tried manually downloading NET framework but information technology says ".Internet Framework four.8 or a later update is already installed on this computer." and says your installation will not occur i take enough space on my estimator and cyberspace is working fine simply it will not install

  Please provide the log file of the installation, the exact reason for the failure can be adamant with it.

  There was an access issue with the registry during installation. Try to restart the machine and install SEB again, if you oasis't tried that already, and make sure that you lot are running the installer as administrator. If that doesn't help, y'all'd demand to contact support personnel, as there might be some general event with your system if the installer tin't access the registry.
