With an exciting assortment of water slides to choose from, there's something for everyone at Wild Coast Sun Water Park. Designed to international aquatic park standards, there's also a designated children's area while those looking for a little relaxation can linger along the Lazy River.
Entry Fees
If you're a hotel guest at the Wild Coast Sun, you get complimentary access to the Wild Waves Water Park. Entry Fee rates apply for day visitors who want to spend their time lazing on the palm-fringed beach or riding the action-packed water slides. The Wild Waves Water Park entrance fee at the Wild Coast Sun is from R115 per person, with discounted prices available for children and senior citizens.

What is the Wild Waves Water Park operating hours?

We will remain strictly open only for hotel guests until further notice.
In the Eastern Cape, 5.5 km south of Port Edward, KwaZulu Natal, across the the Mtamvuna River bridge and the first turning left. You will see a big Wild Coast Sun sign.
Is there an ATM in the Water Park?
No. The nearest ATM is at the main entrance to the casino.
How do I get to the beach from the Water Park?
Follow the tar road around the outside of the Water Park, towards the lagoon.
Where is the horse riding?
It is located behind the Water Park. Follow the tar road towards the lagoon as if going to the beach.
Can we bring food into the Water Park?
No, only water in plastic containers is permitted.
No alcohol allowed.
Where can we get lockers, umbrellas, towels, life jackets and chairs?
You pay for towels, lockers, umbrellas, lifejackets and chairs at the front counters or at the redemption counter. Once you have paid for the item you have rented, you will then collect it at the towel kiosk behind the change rooms. Lockers are situated inside the change rooms.
What attire can we wear on the rides?
Only synthetic costumes or proper swimming attire may be worn on the slides. Cotton T-shirts, denim pants, belts, studded shorts are not allowed as the materials will damage the slides.
Can we use our Sun MVG cards to receive a discount?
Yes. We take Diamond, Platinum and Gold Sun MVG main cards ONLY. The owner of the main card needs to be present on the purchase of the tickets.

Can we bring in our own chairs, umbrellas and gazebos?
Is there a pub or an outlet that sells alcohol in the Water Park?
There is an shop that sells a limited number of assorted local beers and ciders, they also sell swim wear.
Can we buy tickets in advance or book on line?
No. Ticket sales work on a "first come first served" basis.

Are there refunds due to changes in weather conditions?
No. There are no refunds once tickets are purchased.
Do I need to pay the full price even if I am not going to use the slides or swim?
Yes. The ticket is the admission into the Water Park irrespective if you choose to use the facilities or not. There are no refunds once the tickets have been purchased.
What happens if I purchase my ticket, starting off at a retail outlet before going to use the slides, but never get to go into use the slides, as matters of my own concern have prevented me from doing so? Will I be refunded?
No. Once the ticket has been purchased, there are no refunds for whatever cause.
